A visit to Kalamb beach will fill your heart with joy and for a moment atleast you will forget all your worries and the visit will definitely elevate your mood to a great extent.
Its better to take a VVMC yellow and green bus from Nallasopara west depot than travel by a rickshaw because the rickshaw guys cram in passengers that is more than the capacity of the auto rickshaw which will make your travel of 15 minutes, especially for the ladies very uncomfortable. Owners of quite a few empty secluded farmhouses are offering the rooms for stay at economical rates if you plan to spend a day at the beach. The VVMC has maintained cleanliness at the beach. This place has been there since ages but surprisingly not much development has taken place here. Although this spot has the potential to be developed into a picnic spot, a garden with lots of greenery and benches for the elderly would have been welcome. Camel ride and boat ride are available . There are a few food stalls but they don't look hygenic. Its disappointing that there are no public urinals available here.
