I have visited this place and temple both inside and outside. We are supposed to take off our shoes before entering the premises of the temple. Walking barefoot on street and inside the temple is a moment to be cherished because one reason is there is no shame to walk barefoot in public place and second is noone has the guts to judge you. The location is the temple is absolutely perfect. There is transport facility, food services, shops to buy puja materials at affordable price, women's accessories like bangles, etc shops are available, Pani Puri puchka stalls, jangira nimbu Pani shop , carry bags shops, and many more. You just need to have a little patience and be calm which would ultimately make you familiar with this place without any extra effort. There are pandits who make offer for a shortcut to enter the temple. Now, there is one advantage- you will be relieved from the long line of crowd [ queue] and be able to enter the main temple, also , you will be able to save time. The disadvantage is - inside the main temple, you will only get a one view and there are high chance of pushing and all sorts of vibes, also , the pandit charges exorbitantly without any valid reason.

The Shakti Pitha (Sanskrit: शक्ति पीठ, Śakti Pīṭha, seat of Shakti[2]) are significant shrines and pilgrimage destinations in Shaktism, the goddess-focused Hindu tradition. There are 51 Shakti peethas by various accounts,[3][4] of which 18 are named as Maha (major) in medieval Hindu texts. Various legends explain how the Shakti Peetha came into existence. The most popular is based on the story of the death of the goddess Sati. Out of grief and sorrow, Shiva carried Sati's body, reminiscing about their moments as a couple, and roamed around the universe with it. Vishnu had cut her body into 51 body parts, using his Sudarshana Chakra, which fell on Earth to become sacred sites where all the people can pay homage to the Goddess. To complete this massively long task, Lord Shiva took the form of Bhairava. Most of these historic places of goddess worship are in India, but there are seven in Bangladesh, three in Pakistan, three in Nepal, and one each in Tibet and Sri Lanka.[4] There were many legends in ancient and modern sources that document this evidence. A consensus view on the number and location of the precise sites where Sati's corpse fell is lacking, although certain sites are more well-regarded than others.
