★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was built in 1952 and named after Prime Minister Nehru's wife. It covers 4000 square yards and has a magnificent view of Marine Drive from above. We enjoyed a brief stop because it provided not only a lovely bit of greenery, but also excellent people watching3

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kamala Nehru Park is part of the Hanging Gardens complex in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India covering an area of approximate 16,000 sq.mt. (4 acres) Located at the top of Mumbai's Malabar Hill, it is developed and maintained by the Hydraulic Engineer's Department of Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai. One of Mumbai's premier gardens it is popular with young children and tourists. The garden has views of the Marine drive below - also known as Queen's necklace.
The shoe structure is inspired by the nursery rhyme There was an Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe.
Soli Arceivala, Former BMC Environment Officer, VJTI Vice Principal Of 15 Years, NEERI Director had designed Old Woman's Shoe at Kamala Nehru Park.

Onky childrens below certain age can climb inside the shoe, but for covid prevention it not closed for all. you can snap pics from outside though. Free car parking available if space available. best time to visit is evening or early morning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The climate here is nice. The place is on the opposite side of the hanging gardens. There are flowers and trees. The butterflies here are great. The tree entrance or cave type structure is good for the photos. This place is also peaceful and eye catching views. The sea view from here is great. If you want to rest and enjoy. This place is it.

Kamla Nehru Garden/Park one of the famous place in Mumbai specially "Mhataricha Boot". We can reach here from Grantroad railway station west from BEST buses in 5Rs.Taxi also available from Grantroad.Specially for kids.Washrooms also available here.Do not bring food inside park as guard shouting.Only Shoes statue available to see.
Old and Big Trees are available here also various type of small trees/plants we can see here.One Big Clock also available in grass

You're not allowed to take food items inside.
Very clean and photogenic place.
