★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most busiest place in Rathtala. It has a big auditorium hall named Nazrul Mancha. It also has a restaurant too providing good food at cheap rate. All types of municipal facilities are available here too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's located in Rathtala, B.T.Road and is named Kamarhati Municipality. It had started it's august journey in the year 1899. Particularly, the decoration in front of the building is maintained exceedingly well. Excellent statues of great men viz. Kabiguru Rabindranath Tagore, Bidrohi Kabi Kazi Najrul Islam, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose may be seen in front of the Municipal Building which undoubtedly a nice initiative of the concerned authority. Statue of Swami Vivekananda may be seen separately in the other side.

For clarification please visit your municipality.
Documents required:
1) Online form print out
2) Municipality Chairman Caste certificate application
3) Blood Relation Chart attested by ward councillor or chairman
4) Birth Certificates, Aadhar, Ration/ Epic(voter) as identity and local.
5) Caste certificate of parents , uncle, blood Relative.
6)Two passport size photo Attested by ward councillor or chairman.
All document should be self attested / in case of minor by parents..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very old municipality office. All time neat and clean. Staff are moderate. Communication is so well, in front of B.T.Road. Stoppage name is Rathtala.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Neat and tidy. Wash rooms are well maintained. Employees are helpful. Not like other municipality. Attendance of staffs and officers are punctual. Moreover the chairman Sri Gopal Saha is a down to earth person, polite, all time accessible, punctual, and a true gentleman in all respects.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst Municipal service provider. The municipality has denied the residents of taking new water connection since February'21. without any concrete reason. One year passed by they have not yet started giving water connection to the people. Only passing on the bucks is their nature. No one is willing to hear your problem. They all play with their positions. It seems to me as If you have to be illdisciplined with the officials to get your job done.
Ignorance and harrassment is their policy of doing work.
