★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kammasandra Kere - the second lake in Kammasandra is a very polluted lake and in a very bad state. The fencing is broken in many places, raw sewage is let into the lake, and garbage is dumped into the lake. The lake bund is overgrown with trees and bushes and very risky to walk on - essentially no proper access to the lake. On one end of the lake is a corporation garbage yard, which is turning the lake into a landfill and adding further problems for the lake. If the lake is cleaned up, it would offer a great view while we drive on the Kammasandra road - immediate attention is needed to rejuvenate and cleanup this lake before it is lost.
