Located inÊPuneÊdistrict, just 45 km from the main town, Kamshet is a paragliders paradise. It's a beautiful place with small villages with natural scenery and fresh air. You can enjoy the surroundings and also have a closer look at the village life of India with muddy huts and village markets. The area is surrounded by paddy and sunflower fields and it provides an awesome view while you are enjoying the world class paragliding facilities here. Among other important attractions in this region are the Bhairi caves, Bhedsa caves, Khondeshwar temple, Pavana lake and Shinde wadi hills. Due to its proximity to other hill stations like Lonavla andÊKhandala, one can include those places in this trip as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its a picturesque place, the beautiful western ghats, the serene villages around, the calm of the Indrayani river all together make it a fun getaway, it's near the NH4 highway or the old Pune Mumbai Highway, and on the whole a nice and scenic spots. Apart from offering the natural beauty, ofcourse there are para gliding activities that you can opt for, while paragliding you can see the extensive western Ghats and the windmills extended across the mountain ranges, which make it all more worthwhile and fun filled.

Kamshet Railway Station belongs to Central Railways Pune Division and provides primary connectivity on Pune Mumbai Route and only local trains halt here, no express train have halt here and this station is very well maintained by the management and has 2 platforms. And there is a lake behind this station which is very beautiful
