★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kanakavalli, with its beautiful ambience has got beautiful sarees, choices ranging from pure Kanjeevarams, silk sarees without jari silk cottons, tussar's, 10 yard sarees (longer than the usual 9 yards) etc. Price wise they are more expensive than similar stores.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Kanjeevaram Haven. For someone who has seen all those places in Kancheepuram, to Chennai to Bengaluru that carry Kanjeevaram, There ain’t anything like them. Worth EVERY PENNY... you can’t just love one saree.. Thank you for truly bringing out the right ‘taste’ in Kanjeevarams. And great service too!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The sari collection is limited and even the most obvious design patterns are overpriced. When I say overpriced, it's not 5,000 or 10,000 rupees more than a regular Kancheevaram sari but a whopping 15,000 to 20,000 extra. If you are in a mood to splurge and ready to burn a significant hole in your pocket, please visit Kanakavalli. I left the store and went straight to Angadi silks and more than happy with what I bought.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A month back I came across one nice saree on their website and wanted to buy. Before I confirmed my choice, it was sold. Then I inquired whether I can pre-order the same saree. The sales person one Mrs. Lakshmi coordinated with me to place the order and helped me so well. Later she was in touch with me when ever I asked about the status of weaving and so honest and transperant, no false promises. Very very professional. Later she could even confirm when the saree would be arriving at their shop very accurately. One thing that I want to appreciate is, she owned the entire work flow of order- delivery and just did not wash hands after the sale unlike many shops. She sent me pictures once the saree arrived. I was little skeptical whether I get the same color of the one I ordered for. She volunteered to offer the services of tieing the tussels and attach saree falls. The quality of this is really commendable. I got the same color saree as what I liked. Their Quality check process is very evident. I got a Quality check card where there is a check done for every meter of the saree. Really professional!.
Well, there is one thing that I would like to share my experience on the cost. I am a big fan of Kanjeevaram sarees and being a South Indian have shopped in all branded shops in Bangalore, Chennai and Kanchipuram city also. Kanakavalli is surely on the higher side for some varieties, when compared to other shops. I could see the price difference for the same saree from Kanakavalli and another good shop in Bangalore. But what I have seen is the uniqueness, the lustre and the class in their weaving. One thing we should remember. When we pay, we are not just paying for the saree we are buying. It comes with their professional services, the brand that is established for decades.
