u can find here different species of deer ? ,blue bull, white tiger ?, lion ?, leopard ?, ostrich (New bird) peacock ?, different species of fish ? , birds ? ? , eagles ?, crocodile ?, hippos ?..
would recommend ppl should take there kids to this place ..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the major attractions in Bilaspur.
Kanan Pendari Zoological garden is spread around 114 acres in the heart of Bilaspur. It is created in the intention of giving the welfare of the wildlife of the region and to monitor the endangering species of the region.
It has lots of animals , birds , reptiles and fishes many other things to explore you can spend a half day.
Major attractions
1. Zoo visit through Bugey ride, price is Rs.250/- for 40 minutes. 6 adults and 2 kids can easily sit.
2. One good standard acquarium , ticket price 10/- person.
3. Bilasa Garden, which has some swings . It's typical kids space.
4. I spotted Toy train as well but it was not functional.
5. Many improvement are going as I watch civil work at many places inside zoo , means in future many new attraction may be added.
6. I spotted some rare species like white deer, white peacock, white tigers.
7. Carry water bottles since i couldnt find any place where I could buy water bottle.
Overall it's good place for kids.
Prefer time to visit : July to Mid March
Opening time : 09:30am.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It a very good place to chill and experience the beauty of nature. There are so many different animals in this zoo but most importantly there are a lot of big cats like asian lion, african lion, bengal tiger, white tiger, leopard which you might be interested in watching. And there is an aquarium also.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s very green and scenic but the number of animals is very few. It is more like a long walk through a jungle. Among the few options, they have the rare white tiger, which is very impressive however you might have to wait at times to catch a full view of this wild cat.
Inside the zoo, there is a separate section for snakes. They have large variety of snakes and fish, some of which might give you chills!
The park also has a small garden & you can enjoy with your children. There is a small canteen as well but not many options to eat. It is suggested to bring your snacks along. Carrying your own water is also recommended. The toilet facility is not so good.
This place becomes highly crowded over the weekends and if you are looking for some good photography opportunity, then it will be better to be there on weekdays.
Although, there aren’t many animals for a zoo, it is a nice escape from the city life. One can spend close to three hours inside the premises.
