A very serene and calm place for Hindu devotees. This temple is situated in main city of Kangra about a walking distance from the main bus stand of Kangra city. The local people also call it Kangra Devi temple. This temple has a historical importance of its own. It was previously known as Nagar kot temple . Was attached by various mughal rulers but still remains intact. A must visit place if you are or nearby Kangra.

Very old and popular temple in Kangra district of Himachal. Temple is very beautiful and well maintained. Devotees can join in daily Aratis. Just outside is a local market. Earlier used to be a green and a little isolated place, but now it is well inhabited.

Not too crowded specially since navratri was just over. But there are hardly any road signs indicating its presence!! Only when one has reached about 50 meters from the perimeter does one get to see the typical markets selling flowers, offerings etc.
