KANHA JUNGLE LODGE Est.1988 Since 1997 when I came first time till today beauty of nature is maintained and raised to heights by Mr Tarun, Dimple and now by their son Jaisal. We received beautiful warm welcome and excellent services. They keep small notice on the requirements of their guest as when they heard my daughter doesn't eat cream and when all were served fruit cream as a desert she was served a fruit chart bowl which she relished a lot. Food is so tasty and healthy which is freshly prepared here. It is so yummy that you feel like coming here again and again to have it. Whenever we come to our room we feel that we are entering a new room again. When you stay here you have a complete feeling of residing in jungle. Candle light dinner, camp fire and lightened diya at night gives beautiful relaxation to our mind. Before sleeping the hot water bags in the bed are the most surprised bomb which is loved by all in such a cold weather. There are lots of recreation games for kids and adults. Lots and lots to tell but we wish you should experience yourself. Owner...staff...food...n beauty of nature is heart winning here.. The Kanha Hangover lingers on...The lodge is set close to the buffer zone of the lush green forests of Kanha. Beautiful colonial mansion type accomodations with luxurious rooms and huge bathrooms set the stage for princly living. The extremely affable couple along with their enthusiastic and friendly son Jay are the best hosts I have ever experienced Our guide Nitesh and the whole team make you feel welcome . They provide you with all the privacy coupled with loads of friendliness whenever we need their services. The beautiful walk by the river listening to the gushing burble of Banjar river, and the gentle rustling of the leaves in the un- hastened winds of spring, leaves an impression firmly imbibed as a sweet remembrance in my memory forever.The sighting of tiger couples and plenty of other fauna scrupulously guided by the staff of the lodge was like an icing on the cake.If you want to built a fairyland of memories go to Kanha and stay in this lodge!

I booked two cottages here in December for three nights for a family of 4 + 2 children. The experience was truly 5-star from the moment we reached there. The property is off the main road in the middle of the forest (near Mukki gate) so it's very quiet and peaceful. The two cottages we booked were situated a small distance away from the central hub/common area and other rooms. Our check-in process was fabulous and very unique.. We were directly escorted to our rooms and offered a welcome drink instead of having to wait at the register with the entire family. The rooms were tastefully decorated and came equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. There was a lot of space in the front for the children to play (including a hammock!!) and there was a patio in the back to relax. My only gripe is that the space heaters in the room were very small / inadequate given the size of the room and so it did get pretty chilly in the evening. However, we were offered two hot water bags per room every night, which was very thoughtful. Tea, breakfast, lunch and dinner were included in the room rate. The food (mostly Indian cuisine) was delicious and the menu was never repeated throughout our three day stay. The staff was very accommodating of special requests, which was very much appreciated since we had two children with us. However, what made our stay truly memorable were the staff. They are hands down the BEST hotel staff I have ever seen. They were polite, helpful and always had big smiles on their face. For example, they helped us get medicines when I got a little sick and even offered to prepare khichdi just for me. The chef came around each meal to ask us how we liked the food and at least 11 people came to see us off. What astonished me was that Mr Tarun Bhatia called me a day later to tell me I had left my iPhone charger in the room and had it sent via another vehicle coming to Jabalpur. I had assumed it lost. I don't think many properties would go to this length to make their guests' stay so welcoming and comfortable. We were unlucky that we didn't see any tiger during the safaris but thanks to Mr Tarun Bhatia and his staff, we had an amazing vacation regardless. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Amazing hospitality, exemplary work on tiger conservation for the last 3 generations, a compulsive stay for anyone who would want to enjoy a 5 Star resort setting amidst dense sal forest with luxury cottages crafted with care, attention, detailing and ethnicity. The host Tarun and Dimple were warm and courteous. The cuisine and menu planned by Dimple, depicted thoughtfulness and had all the ingredients to excite the palette of gastronomic connoisseurs. Tarun, with his attention to detail, went out of his way to make our stay extremely enjoyable and comfortable. The staff were super efficient and courtesy personified and did everything with a smile. Highly recommend this place… Will surely come back to this nature’s paradise!!

5 stars for wonderful hospitality, cooperative and amicable staff. This property is well located, at the bay of Banjar river, you sit near river and spend some calm moments, with lighter music of water flowing in river. Hotel provides a guide with you who gives full information about the place, the plants in the surrounding. They pay personal attention to all there guests without disturbing their privacy. Food is good, and you can customize and request the kitchen if you want to eat some local dishes. This property is also pocket friendly and recommend from my side

An absolutely royal and wonderful experience with a very humble and obedient staff at our disposal with whom we connected very easily! ?? Minor points are unfortunately that the initial interest and engagement from the ruling family vaporised very quickly; we became ‘just’ a guest. The takeaway lunch on our way back to Raipur was very poor compared to the abundant and tasteful breakfasts we had before during our stay.

We went just before Christmas 2021. It's one of the greatest experiences from all the other accommodations in this month long trip in India. From the moment we stepped into the property to the time we left, we received perfect hospitality & thoughtful service such as hot water bottles to warm our beds and the early Safari rides, bonfires, highly attentive service from the property owner to the entire service crew. Food was great, property was spotless and well maintained, rooms were cosy and we even had a personal guide walking with us in the short jungle walk (part of the property). We especially loved that he could explain the various plants and their medicinal benefits. Highly recommend!!!

Great weekend all close to nature. The place is amazing. The staff was very helpful and cooperative. Food was also amazing with different variety served everyday. One can enjoy there playing indoor games, doing cycling and especially the nature walk where you get to see different varieties of birds and plants. Service was also top notch from hot towels, welcome drinks being served at the entrance to serving hot water bottles to warm our beds at night. Will be soon coming again for this hospitality.
