I will suggest to go through the Bhopdev ghat, that will be the easiest and smoothest road you will get. But if you are planning to go through the Holkarwadi ghat, change you plan till more 1 year, the road is totally under construction. You can't go through bike, you need to park your bike 3 km before the temple. You can see beautiful sunset and hope so sunrise too. A nice and beautiful place to visit in weekend, it's not to far from actual city.

A short drive (30 kms) away from the city brings you to a temple on top of a small hillock. A short drive, a good ghat section and something unique in this temple make this a very good option for 2-3 hr break from the city. Shri Kanifnath Maharaj was one of nine teachers in the Navnath Sampradaya, a Hindu Parampara who believe that Rishi Dattatreya, an incarnation of the Holy trinity Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva to be its first teacher (Source: Bhatakanti). This temple is dedicated to him.

It is a good place to visit with friends/family. Around 20 kms from NIBM/Undri. The road conditions are good for most part with most of it being ghat sections. Once you get to the actual temple gate, there is a steep ascent till we get to the temple car park. Once in the temple, you get great 360° degree views of the city considering the mandir is at a pretty good altitude. If you reach the temple before 2 pm, you will get a chance to have a meal at the prasadalaya. Overall the temple is open from early morning till evening.

Kanifnath temple near Saswad When u need a break of just few hours or say half day then you can visit such nice and peaceful place near Pune. A short drive (30 kms) away from the city brings you to a temple on top of a small hillock. It is more close to Hadapsar, Magarpatta and Kharadi. you will have to go through one small ghat which has very nice views of city. Road towards temple is not that good but it is hardly patch of 1-1.5km. You can take your car till temple stairs. Visited This in the month of Jan. Place offers a good panoramic views for photographers. Women are not allowed inside the temple and Even men needs to go via small passage . Visit to this place can be clubbed with few other places near by for one day trip.

The trek is what makes the mandir even more special. The place is beautiful, no doubt. The views while climbing to the top are worth all the trouble. The place visited on a cloudy/windy day will refresh your soul. The mandir is beautifully built. After the climb, a tasty meal of misal pav could be looked forward to. A nature's spot, that does not require any kind of money, just a little bit of your time. Overall, a wonderful experience and will definitely do it again.

Very cleaned and peaceful temple. Good parking space for the two wheelers and four wheelers. Crowded during weekends. From parking space to top around 30-40 steps. Bhel is famous there to eat. Temple authority closed the tunnel which this used to be for Darshan and entrance! Scenery are beautiful from top!

Nice place to visit. peace full. 2 roads to reach this place one off road n other road is in good condition but long route. Google shows the toughest one since its shortest route. Place is open for visit n it has amole of parking for 2 wheels n four wheeler.
