Compared to other developments around kakariya lake aquarium still seems to be ancient.
There were a variety of fishes there but infrastructure seemed to be very poor I think it's same since it's original construction. Many aquarium spots were empty and dark. Less number of types if fishes if compared to other Aquarium in other cities in the country.
There are no proper arrangements, not even working fans there, no security or guide. It's just take a ticket and self service types.
No seemed to be much bothered about it's existence and it's importance. It's at a great point near lake and if taken proper care and renovated can be a great spot.
Tip for Kakariya Aquarium authorities:
Go on a tour of 'Under the Sun Aquarium" at Fateh-Sagar Lake, Udaipur. I don't mind spending my tax money on that tour, if you promise to upgrade our Kakariya Aquarium to even 70% of that level.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Many things at one place, horror house, joy train, amusement park, aquarium, speed boat, boating. Prices for each activity are affordable. They also have .multiple foodcourts with ample ice cream options so overall good family place. Parking is plenty and you would surely find a spot anytime you go

Only Rs. 5 entry fees. Good place to go with family and friends.
Variety of fishes with name on the glass box.
As you can see in the below pictures cleanliness and care of those valuable fishes.
