★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was firnerly known as ICI Fertilizer, the largest foreign investemt at that time. The uria produced by the plant was known as 'CHAND CHHAP UREA'. The quality was Excellent. Old people can still remembet the 'CHAND CHACHA' the trade mark of the product. I still do rember as I heard in my childhood. Later on the company gone through several divestment and passing through the hand if Akzo Nobel and Duncan, now it is owned by Jay Pee Group. The plant renamed as Kanpur Fertilize & Cement Ltd. (KFCL). It is expected that Jay Pee Group is planed to establis a cement plant unto it, but infrastructure is not visible yet. The fertilizer unit with CPP has been restotred very quickly by Jay Group but production has not been started yet.

Product of this ? company is very good and very excellent ? all retailers and farmers like Chand chap urea . Urea is very important for all crop so this company provides urea for farmer and for crop .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No answer, as much as I know about this company, this company has the basic facility, that too because of Duncan, so there is no such facility here that makes an employee happy, not only a tendancy, but also the Holi Diwali of this company to its employees. Neither to appraise nor to do anything that the employees are happy about, I want to spoil the name of the JP Group people. Pay attention to some such facility over your Kanpur Fertilizer from JP Group.
