Kapilash Deer Park - kapilash

It's a nice place and this park have so many swings, flowers, animals and birds,and beautiful amazing surrounding.

Not only a deer park..have a lot of other animals..like sloth beer,anaconda,elephant and many species of birds. It is a very good park..ticket cost is only 5 rupees and it is worth it.

Well maintained and family friendly location to visit near Kapilas (near to Dhenkanal Town). As on today (1st Jan 2019), they have Parrots, Owls, Eagles, Emu, Love Birds, Peacocks, Rabbits, Python, Wild Boars, Sloth Bears, Deers, Elephants and few other birds/animals in the park. The place appears to be well maintained and animal/bird shelters looked tidy and clean. Kudos to the staff for having done such a great job. There is a medium size ground with variety of flowers and other plants and a lawn. Visitors can sit and relax on the grass area. There is a 4 person pedal boat available inside for a charge of Rs50 per boat (I guess). Next to this park there is a Science Center, which may as well be an interesting (and educational) place for a visit. Right outside the park entrance, there are small vendors selling some street food and packaged food items. So your snacking needs would be taken care. Information bits: * Car entry charge : Rs 50 * Zoological Park Entry Ticket : Rs 5 * Park closing time : 5:00 PM * Amenities available nearby : Water, Tea, Coffee, Snacks. Gents and Ladies washrooms are available outside the park entrance. Car parking space is available within 50-100 meters of the park entrance. Also there is a Govt Roadside Amenities Center within 500 meters of this park. Important: I have a humble request to you all to avoid carrying or using plastic or any other disposable items in or around the park and help the authorities in maintaining and growing this beautiful eco system. Good place to bring your kids. Here you can spend time them. Good environment ? There are many animals and birds like crocodile,peacock,owl,deer,mithun,bear,python,ostrich,parrot,crocodile etc etc. Boating facility also available (1 round per boat is 50rs only) . Four people can seat at time in boat. Very nice place it is. Entry ticket is only 10 rupees . You cam spend lots of time with your closed one. There are so many beautiful plants in garden. Very good place for children and adult also... Entry fee is Rs 20/-per person..

Very Good park, Neat n clean... . But here Few number of Animals are caged. It seems those Animals Lack proper Care by the Zoo authority... I feel They are not happy Here.. Some of them are diseased, ill and Stressed...

A nice place for children. Earlier it only had deers, but now they have added a lot of other animals and birds. Also it is well developed as a garden. So it's a nice place to visit once if you are going to kapilash temple.

Very Good Nature view. Place is neat and clean in this park. Boating is available. Rides are also here. Nice place to visit in Holidays with family and children Still I think there something is lacking here .. The emu birds were very hungry when we visited. Also there was less security here.
