★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Koriai Park ( कोरियाई पार्क ) is situated at Saryu Ghat and the memory of Korian Princes . It is well built and well designed but mostly visitors take a casual visit but a place to sit and meditate .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This park has been established by Korean Government in memory of a Princess from Korea. Korean delegates visit this place from time to time. Not a very big public attraction, mainly because people do not know about it. Lack of interest has turned this place into another jungle park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ -> According to the legend (Korean history), Indian Princess Suriratna married with king Kim Suro in 48 AD, some 2000 years ago, and started the Karak dynasty and later she known as Heo Hwang-ok,
-> The Karak dynasty
Kim is a common surname in Korea and King Kim Suro is considered to be the father of the Kim clan which is based in Gimhae city.
The legend says that King Suro allowed two of their sons to take her name (Heo), which is used to this day.
-> Today, historians say, descendants of the couple number more than six million, which is roughly about 10% of the South Korean population.
-> South Korean president Kim Dae-jung and former prime minister Kim Jong-pil claim their ancestry to the Karak dynasty.
-> People from the Karak dynasty have also preserved 7 rocks that are said to have been used by the princess during her journey from Ayodhya to Korea by sea rute. these rocks used to keep her boat stable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No.... She was from Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. Ayuta is the old name of Kanyakumari not ayodhya. Ayodhya's old name is something different....Kingdom of Ay with its capital city at Ayikudi near Thenkasi and its port city Ayi"thurai" could have been located near Kanyakumari (the place where Ay Kingdom touches ocean). Thus it is conclusive that this princess went to Korea from Ayithurai (Present day Kanyakumari).
