This temple is famous for Lord Shiva (mahadev).
This temple is situated on the bed of river tapi.
The place is crowded on Monday and in month of shravan.
The temple is very spiritual.
Large parking space is available and also the small vendors are also there.

It was built by Kadarm nath rushi, who married with devavati― priyavat' daughter and priyavat is son of manu whose father name King utanpad― meanwhile kadarmnath rushi had put the condition after first child he lives life for mahadev but he had gift that his first child was mahadev so he sat in meditation for 40 years and devavati praying him after 40 year when he opened his eyes and during passed nearby tapi he developed the temple name was KADARMNATH mahadev mandir, but eventually surati and kathiyawadi says it as KARMNATH Mahadev temple which was famous Shiv temple. Where all saints come from here and there to serve the mahadev. Campus was well maintained. The temple was reconstructed 3 times for 10 year and because of lots of sculpture and designs are there. During sharavan month here many devotees came for praying. the temple is divine and has positive vibes after visiting here. I liked the place and silence it has...it gives great peace to my mind, Temple is very old, we stayed at Mota Varachha in Surat which is across the Tapi River―which also has unique history, It commence from shiv's left eye after devoted by bramha to surya maharaj it spead the light on earth and that is the reason sun's daughter born on 'satam'―So now it is our responsibility to protect tapi by restrict the dumping into TAPI maiya,
Final recommendation is that surat is very interesting place one should visit this wonderful city has lots of cuisines and variety skills and experience.
