★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development and Finance Corporation (KUIDFC) is the State level Nodal Agency for planning and implementing all major basic infrastructure projects in the major Cities of the State of Karnataka.
KUIDFC is registered as a Public Limited Company and is a State PSU under the Urban Development Department of the State.
KUIDFC has multi-disciplinary experts to review and approve infrastructure projects and has done an excellent job in its 25 years of existence.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The state government (Government of Karnataka) named as the executing agency Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development and
Finance Corporation Limited (KUIDFC), which had been established in 1993 during the processing of
the KUIDP as a nodal agency for urban infrastructure development. KUIDFC’s major responsibilities are
to formulate infrastructure development projects in urban areas; mobilize funds from various financing
institutions, including the central government and external development partners; and implement and
monitor projects. Partnership between the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Government of Karnataka began with the
Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development Project (KUIDP), which started from 1995 and still ongoing. Around 25 years of development partnership between the Asian Development
Bank (ADB) and the Indian state of Karnataka and their joint endeavor to enable sustainable and inclusive
urban development in the state.
