★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you have travelling through this station u can find irctc canteen on pf 2 ,an average complex infront of station,hotels,dhabas, restuarant,1mall also,there is 3 station near this junction "Katni south" towards Jabalpur, another one is "Katni murwara" towards damoh bina and another one is"new Katni junction" that is towards singrauli bilaspur ranchi side.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The 3rf largest station of Madhya Pradesh and having a availablity of trains almost all over the India to travel. Main junction for its nearby station for water supply engine change etc. Good place but needs more afforts to their Cleanliness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The infrastructure is decent but there is an absolute lack of civic sense and policing of the same. People lie down on the floor of waiting rooms (including AC ones), blocking space for others to move around or occupy adjoining vacant seats and there is no one to stop this.

There are 3 other stations as well at Katni namly Katni Murwara, Kanti South and New Katni in around 2-4 km range. Auto service is easily available.
