One time please visit Darbhanga Airport it's amazing work done By airport Authority, Darbhanga Airport will be open seven working days timings 9:AM to 6PM .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Airport is not so-called state of the art, but it is a great relief for people in this region, and definitely exceeds expectations.
The entry gate is same for entry and exit, and this should be improved. There is no terminal and thus you may have to walk a bit to reach to boarding points.
Not much support outside, no sophisticated eateries, cab/tempo services are costly. Hope things will catch up with increasing traffic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall need to improve services of lot, however providing air connecting for the region is great Achievement!!Only 2 Security check point ans a single scanning belt, which may take 1 or more time to reach @ boarding gate at peaktime!!Pls keep 2 hr in Hand for comfortable boarding!!

The premises of airport is not as good as expected but i know "Rome was not built in a day".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ And make sure you don't go an hour before your flight or else you will be told to wait outside the airport. This airport is under indian air force so photography is strictly prohibited else you can be ready to taste jail food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Airport drop off area is 400 meter from the departure gate. Basic amenities planned is too scant for the load. 50% fliers are forced to stand. Dustbins are always full. Toilet is filthy. Departure signboard dysfunctional.
DBR is an example of bad planning. Less than an year old but crowded and badly managed. God only knows when it will get an upgrade.
Interestingly it clocked 3 lakh passengers in 8 months, handling 10plus flight and more than 2k pax daily.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most promising airport in bihar, The infrastructure is in progressing state. Due to high demand among people the flights are continuously added and the terminal capacity remains saturated.
Need urgent expansion, overall staffs are welcoming and helpful.
Would like to see this airport as an international flight operation hub of eastern Region.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Airport is small but is being managed very well by the security officers...rather passengers were not cooperating...It is good have direct air connectivity from Darbhanga to many parts of our country...all the negative reviews I read were for winter season, when due to poor visibility fights gets delayed...that is understandable...one should plan there travel considering every possibilities in mind...all the basic amenities are there...and in future it will be amongst the standard airport in India...
