Faculty where it was an excellent faculty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great School for class 8th and above with even greater principal Mr. SK Dash who is working very hard to improve it (He has also installed CCTV cameras to keep track of students). However I do not prefer this school to be joined from the beginning (1st class) as a result of the reservation for the BPL category. These students always keep the primary classes in a not studiable atmosphere and always keep on fighting with each other which also affect the ones who want to study. The primary (to 7th class) teachers are also very ignorant and mostly resort to beat the students. They are also unjust and do not listen to complaints ignoring the students as they are small and mostly in fear of getting beaten. The headmistress is also not strict towards these teachers. By the way the school also needs to improve very in providing sports periods and equipments regularly to students and improve its water facility as water (washing purpose) finishes to soon. I gave this school 4 stars because my son is presently studying in 11th and doesn't need all this. If it would be for primary classes I wouldn't have given even 2 stars. Hope the school improves if it reads this review.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kendriya vidyalaya no. 1 located inside nausena bhag that is inside accommodation of naval service personnel. So area surrounding school is safe and secure for safety and security of students and staff here.
The KVs work under the Ministry of Education and draws it's powers from charter prepared by them.
The KVs are known for their educational highness and dealing with students and their parents. Here overall personality development curriculum has been focused upon. The emphasis is on training the minds for the brighter future.
School is the foundation stone in one's life. It create the core of mind, heart and body. And my view is that after Navodya they are best by virtue of professionalism. Many programs have been organised in Consonance with the defence organization. This with strengthen the muscle power of national intellectualism.
New exception is that premises is having IGNOU study centre here. And they have started conducting exam also here.
Many vocational courses have been included in the curriculum for the overall development of a chil.
The staff and teachers are selected from genuine process. And teaching methods are also great. They follow NCERT curriculum. And design of program is well structure and well planned.
Less star for to focus more on surrounding cleanliness and outdoor activities or extra curricular activities. Otherwise they are best in their professional front.
