★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used to study here way back in 1982. There was no KV 2 which I see opposite the school. I was so glad to see that the Mango orchard is still there. Near the orchard there used to be a hand pump from where we used to drink water. If my memory serves me right, there was a canteen next to it. Studied from 4th to 7th.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I studied at KV Roorkee during 1973 - 75 period when I did my 5th and 6th standard. Memories, memories, pleasant memories all....Made great friends, teachers who refused to give up on us, morning prayer at outdoor assembly place, SUPW, Craft and Drawing teachers, Canteen, Big Mango Orchard, cricket ground, a visible Himalayan range at a great distance, unforgettable, innocent and memorable experiences... those really were the days. Samir Taylor, Arvind Nayak, Naresh, Rakesh, Praveen Ganguly, Sanjeev Bhattacharya, Anil Kumar, Swami Narain, Vikas, Pratibha Saraf are a few of my class mates whose names I recall.
