★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This school is situated at a lonely place. Lonely doesn't mean that it is deserted but a calm place where students don't get distracted easily. The campus is big in comparison to other kendriya Vidyalayas in the cities. The shape of the building is little bit different from usual buildings. It is around 5 km each from both the railway station and the bus stop. The only negative thing is that you have to use a vehicle to reach there. From the main road, it is around one km away which may give you a shock as there is no transportation facility from that specific point . Overall I had a good experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On 1st April 2012, first time went to this school & on 31th March 2022, the last time went went to school to do classes. My 10 years in the school was like 10 books a series. It was full of enjoyment, joy, energetic 10years of my life. KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA NO.2 BALANGIR was a home for 10 years, will miss all the school life but always remember it in memories.
