It has helped in reduction of prices in other vegetable markets and vendors.This system became economical for both the farmer and end consumer and ensured good quality by reducing transport.
The farmers are greatly benefited by this kind of business since they sell directly to the customers and do not pay any commission to the agents. The customers are also getting good quality produce. Thus they have become popular, creating a demand for the produce of small farmers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Weekly 2 days haat/bazar on Tuesday and Friday. Very good bazar and mostly local agricultural produces are being sold here on these days as such fresh vegetables available mostly. But the adjacent state highway i.e. Panskura-Ghatal road condition is very bad for communication, otherwise, the bazar is very good.
