Nice Place for Meditation. This is group of 37 Buddhist Rock Cut Caves. There are three routes to visit Khadsamble Caves. 1) From Nenavali Village : This is the easiest route to visit Caves. As Khadsamble Caves are easily approachable from Nenavali Village, These caves are also known as Nenavali Caves. Visit Nenavali Village and search "Khadsamble Caves Entry Point" in Google maps. Take right from main road and follow the kacchha road for 1km. After that you will get painted Arrow Marks. Follow the Arrow Marks and within 40minutes you will be in Caves 2) From Khadsamble Village : Visit Khadsamble Village and ask the Villagers about the route. This route doesn't have arrow marking. And hence it's bit difficult to find the right trail. This route will also take one hour to reach the Caves. 3)From Kevni Pathar via Ghonadand Ghat :This is the most difficult route. But this route is convenient for people visiting from Pune. First Visit Ekole Village. Then walk for 30 minutes to reach Kevni Pathar. From Kevni Pathar ask the villageman for Ghonadand Ghat. Form Ghonadand you can see top View of Caves. From Kevni Pathar It will take one and half hour to reach the Caves.

Did this trek on a hot day. We started from Khadsamble village, visited the caves and ended the trek at Ghutake. Total elevation 700mts. You need atleast 4-5 ltrs of water. Probably you can have 2-3 bottles. Plain water in some and lime water or juice in other. Ideally you can keep these bottles in deep freeze, overnight. And wrap them in newspapers or other insulating materials. Keep the bottles in the inside of the bags. If you keep them in the side pockets, they get exposed to sun and the water gets extremely hot. Carry citric fruits, cucumber. Intake enough salts to avoid cramps. One can camp in the caves, too. Ample of space to sleep for, atleast 50-70 ppl. Don’t forget to carry sleeping bags as the floor is uneven. The path towards Ghutake village is pretty ok. Couple of tricky patches on the way. During summers you can find lot of berries on the way. These are called ‘karvanda’ in local language. Also known as Conkerberry. You can find them on large bushes. The ripe ones are jet black in colour. They are usually sweet or tangy-sweet. They are round in shape and size of a small grape. They, slightly, have a mat-finished texture. Avoid the shiny-black ones. Remember to carry your trash back with you. Do not litter. Don’t throw plastic bags or wrappers. Dress appropriately. The village is small and quite. Avoid speakers or any other loud instruments. This the only time you get a chance to stay away from the noisy city life. So enjoy the birds, winds, tree, insects. Experience nature. Respect nature.
