★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best and crowd less junction. Average clean and the station is huge, all the facility like drinking water, weather shelters, waiting rooms, luggage room and food stalls available. Staffs are nice and good in behavior. I found the distance of foot overbrize is very far, its very difficult sometimes to cross platform. The announcement quality needs to be upgrade.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A big,less crowded junction station. for passenger train. Railway tracks divide here towards Rampurhat & Asansol. Seating, shades,water, waiting room, foot overbridge available. Toto stand just outside the station. If you want to go Bolpur from Asansol you have to pick up train from here. Don't forget to experience the curve in railway tracks between Jhapterdhal & Khana.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very neat and clean station. Only a little problem with the over bridge. Most of the people does not use the over bridge. Many trains stop there . It's a junction and so one can go to many directions. One who is coming from Howrah and wants to go Bolpur or Santiniketan by train have to go via this station.
