★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Khandoba temple is situated at top of the hill.There are few steps from base to Temple.While entering into the Temple there is a feeling of inner peace.This place is very silent and the view from the top is mind blowing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It has around 500 small stairs & badlapur dam view once you reach above to the temple. It's just okay okay place. Better to start climbing early morning around 7. U may struggle to climb little after 10 O'clock because of heat. You might take an hour to reach to temple. It's khandoba temple as name indicate. Nothing much to do or explore above or I am not the temple person. Few birds can be seen in adjacent forest area while climbing stairs.

It's located in Mulgaon which 8.5 km from badlapur station.
You can visit early morning or evening between 4 to 6.
Nearby 400 stairs you need to climb to reach on top.
Best time to visit is Monsoon and Winter.

A good treking experience as well. Need lots of energy and take your own food and water as you wont get any at top. You get 360degree view at the top from Karjat to Badlapur to Taloja to Kalyan to Murbad and beyond.
Chikis at the base of trek must try from locals. Mind the steps could be tiring, so up-walk zigzag and downwalk zigzag to less strain your legs.
Also if possible carry some food for pets around.
Wear appropriate clothes as you would trek religious place with lots of turmeric around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Situated around 5km from Badlapur station. You can get share rickshaws to get their. Buses are also available.
Trekk is bit difficult. Total 564 steps from top to bottom.
Best time to visit is early morning during sunrise or during sunset. You can view large area including Bhimashankar mountain range, barvi dam, Gorakhgad, matheran, chandoli, whole Badlapur city and Vangani.

Good exercise while going up the stairs. Steep at one point but one can reach at top in 20 mins without needing many breaks.

And the most important point for foodies, don’t forget to taste vada-pav and misal at mulgaon. It has a unique taste and flavors which you will carry as a return gift. The road towards the temple is so beautiful.
The temple has well-built steps from base village to top. It takes around 20-30 minutes to ascend the hill. On way, it offers scenic views of surroundings. Remember to carry enough water, as the walk can turn out tiring sometimes.
Also, the place offers an amazing experience of sunrise and sunset. Once in a year, there is a fair named ‘Khandobachi Yatra’ arranged at this place. The temple is enlightened and the atmosphere turns devotional.
