★ ★ ★ ★ ★ “Khicharo Ka Bas” used to belong Gokulpura village. First Sarpanch after independence was my grandfather, Late Choudhary Bhagwana Ram Ji Khichar.
Now it’s part of municipal corporation and falls under ward system. This place holds my childhood memories and also wraps so many historical events.
I can still remember, my GrandPa used to told us how important this place was in the history of Sikar. Before independence, king Kalyan Singh & Madho Singh did many visit to this village regarding their political aspects and my GrandPa used to be designated person for them to discuss it.
The Well in the center of village(shown in pics), was the only source of drinking water for whole village. Every morning & evening, we used to gather with our pots to bring water at home. I have done it many times along with my role model mother(Late Mrs. Parameshwari Devi) and those are my best memories ever.
