★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is very dangerous all the time but at the same time great view for photoshoot as the river ganges goes by. All the ships come to kolkata through this route and special attraction is the bridge which opens only when ships cross the river. My suggestion to the police force to keep this area under view 24hrs for safety of common people.

This is planned business and industrial area created by the British govt. At that days Kolkata port trust (Khidirpur dock) was played a big role for the growth of indian business. But nowadays this area and their businesses are almost no more. This was also effected the economy of Kolkata, West Bengal as well as India.
