Khirai flowers garden - Champadali

The gardens are located just after Panskura if you are coming from Kolkata. The Google Maps takes you to a narrow road where there are two metal barricades on either side of the road. Don't take that. Just keep following the main village road. You will have to go under the railway tracks and then the gardens are to your left. There are now eateries and shops set up right there.. It is just flower gardens every where, so don't expect a place to sit down or toilets. But please be respectful of the plants and the flowers. Don't pluck them and certainly don't enter the gardens to take photos. The plants get damaged as a result of such irresponsible acts. Don't throw trash around in the gardens. There are trash cans near the shops and eateries. Make use of them.

Flowers are of course the main attraction in the care of the busy farmers in the flower field, besides there are various birds, butterflies, grasshoppers and insects. All in all, it can be said that at this time, nature fills its form-juice-scent. Directions: From Howrah to Kharagpur or Medinipur by train to Panskura, the next station is Khirai. It takes about 1 hour and 50 minutes. After getting off at Khirai station and walking along Pashkura along line number three for about 20 minutes along some narrow dirt road, you will start cultivating flowers on both sides of Kasai river.

Situated remote area in Medinipur. Local people arranged proper parking place. Roads are narrow but condition is good. Few food stall available around the garden.

Beautiful flower garden along the kangshaboti River, very close to kshirai station. Need good toilet facilities, car parking, clean food stalls and covid19 consciousness.

Just Speechless, what's a view. I am simply mesmerized by the beauty of flowers. Scenic beauty is awesome. Various types of flowers are there. Now, this site is most outstanding for flower lovers. You can enjoy a lot of time in this place. Also, you can buy flowers from this place. Just beside of khirai railway station.

I never knew such a place near Kolkata. A great weekend one day trip. One may take a local train to Khirai. The colours of such flowers are so soothing to eyes. Great place for birdwatchers. Will recommend this place for all nature lovers

It's a beautiful place but as it's a tourist spot, one must think of starting a few food stalls, and small shops ,more shades to sit and rest under. One can make good business out of it but noone is trying. Noone will like to travel far ,spend wonderful time just walking through the flowers n come back empty stomach right? The locals can make a living by providing some sort of refreshment and providing seating arrangement for rest under the hot sun. Would love to see such advancements next time.
