A	Aindrila Roy Chowdhury on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located on the banks of a tributary of Haldi River, this is one of the best getaways from Kolkata (about a 2-3 hour drive). And not just in terms of view, but you will be floored by their behaviour and their service. Special mention of Mr. Soumitro Giri and his team for the effort that they put in to make your stay as comfortable and as homely as possible. As of date they have a capacity to accommodate 40 guests at a time but they are expanding the number of rooms. And each rooms is very well furnished with comfortable beds, ACs, TV (not that you would want to watch the screen when you are there). And last but not the least. If you are travelling in a group of more than 5-10 people, you could ask for a package which includes meals. And oh boy, their ability to feed you goes beyond imagination till you have to actually ask them to stop else that would be the biggest pain point of the stay. Their cook is not only skilled at making authentic Bengali food but also Indian-Chinese and Poha and upma and spring rolls and what not. You wish you had double the stomach capacity to eat all that they serve. They have separate accommodation for the driver so you just need to inform them about that. A piece of advice. Book your rooms well in advance else you might be disappointed as it is becoming increasingly popular destination these days. You will find the owner of the place Mr. Manoj Basu making visits every day and keeping a watch on everything that occurs there. It is a delight to speak with him as well. Go there to unwind, rest, recharge and refresh!

We were the first guests to stay in the newly inaugurated block and although the size of the rooms are smaller than the old block, it perfectly suited our group. One can spend hours sitting beside the Haldi river. Whole campus is very well maintained. Children really enjoyed their stay. Food quality was also superb. The owner himself looked after the well being of the guests. Bonfire and barbeque were arranged as per our request. Would love to see a children's play area and a swimming pool for the summer months. Will surely go back again The approach road (4-5 km) is pretty non-existent, but that's small price you pay for an amazing stay within reasonable budget.

Food quality, taste, behavior of staffs and owner Manasda is just unbelievable, very warm and polite, rooms are nicely decorated and large.Always recommended for weakend trip.

Each and every staff was very nice and looked after our needs (like making sure we always had enough drinking water etc even when we were going out to visit the haldia township). The rooms were absolutely clean, neat and tidy and very comfortable. Food was absolutely amazing, all the ingredients were fresh especially the fish. Overall a very very remarkable place to visit for a relaxed stay.
