Easy to reach. It is a back side of vishal gad kolhapur ... But road is from lanja... This dm can also viewable from vishalgad fort...
Most comfortable for picknik and overnight camping with full of joy

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dam located near Bhambed gaon serves as a tourist spot for localities. The way to the dam is steep and shall test your driving skills. Be careful. When on the dam, please ensure that you are safe as the place does not offer any safety aspects.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's very close to nature. All mountains of Sahyadri are visible from there. As well as the bridge of Vishalgad which was built before any years that was also visible. You should have to visit the dam.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On the Rajapur-Sakharpa road, 12 kilometers away from Bhambed village in Lanja taluka, a small earthen dam has been constructed in a scenic place by the irrigation department. This dam which is situated at the base of the Sahyadri Mountains does not have any gates. Seeing the calm streams flowing down the steps of the bright white waterfall is an unforgettable experience. There are no words to describe the great Sahyadri Mountain engulfed in the arms of the mist and the scenic beauty around it.
During clear weather, if there is no fog, you can see the iron bridge at the foot of Vishalgad standing on the wall of the Khorninko.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place to visit in any season. Dam outlet is so good. Outlet water is flowing on so many steps which creats so many waterfalls. From dam we can se vishalgad. No hotels available nearby so bring your food if you are on family trip. In winter and start of summer you can enjoy water in dam outlet waterfalls but in rainy season its dangerous. Best view of river and and dam you will see here. One swayambhu ganesh temple is also famous in prabhanvalli village.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to visit with family but only in monsoon i.e between mid July to mid September. Do not swim when water is in heavy force. Cars and Bikes are allowed till bottom of dam. Roads are not so good always. No shops nearby. Villagers are good and helpful. Avoid traveling by two wheeler because of risky roads. Overall best experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful dam with all basic amenities. Tourist attractions as the view of the dam is pleasant. Mainly to be visited in monsoon seasons. State transport buses are available but own private vehicle would be a great option. The dam is situated just downsteps of Sahyadri in bank of three valleys. Just to left corner top you can find Mighty Vishalgad and its entry bridge.
