About KK Duplex & Paper Mills Pvt. Ltd.
Our two directors, Mr. Bharat Aggarwal and Mr. Suneel Aggarwal, are first generation business owners. They started with supplying wastepaper as a raw material to other mills in 1995. Later, they commenced trading of finished paper as well. In 2002, they started their own duplex board manufacturing facility under the name of KK Duplex & Paper Mills Pvt. Ltd. Our plant went through a major expansion in 2015 and increased its production capacity to 100 MT per day. In 2020, Mr. Vikransh Aggarwal (son of Mr. Bharat Aggarwal) graduated in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and joined our company. We are known for maintaining a good relationship with our vendors and authorised dealers. Our employees are like family to us, and we always promote a healthy work culture in the company.
We are currently dependent on grid electricity for running our plant and plan to install a 3 MW turbine before 2023 for producing our own electricity. The turbine will be supported by a state-of-the-art waste-to-energy boiler which will use non-recyclable solid wastes as fuel thus, aiding the government authorities in handling the wastes generated.
We do not discharge any wastewater into the environment. The wastewater is treated properly in our facility for reuse which allows us to use less than 2 m3 of fresh water per ton of paper produced.
There are a lot of different sheet sizes that our customers demand from us. To get the best permutations and combinations of all the sizes while achieving minimum wastage, we use a deckle optimization software.
We are planning to upgrade our plant and increase the manufacturing capacity to 150 MT per day in 2022. This upgradation will allow us to manufacture higher quality grades of duplex board. The production and quality upgradation will be complemented by addition of blade coater, trim-free cutters and shrink wrapping machines.
