★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful forest, roads are good throughout the year. Sanctuary is now open for tourists. But they allow only 08 vehicles inside the gate at one time. So make sure you book prior or visit on weekdays to avoid hassle. You do get to see animals for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most convenient and quiet places near Nagpur for a one-day return trip with family/friends. One may not see wildlife but the place is a quiet jungle. One will get fresh fish fry in any restaurant. Non-veg lovers should try gavran murga in hut-type restaurants. That's an experience. Those planning for overnight halt, can stay in forest department cottages near Koka village or in private resorts. Beware of private resorts as they lend their space for small functions that are always noisy.
