★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's one of the gate out of 15 gates to enter into the tadoba forest for wildlife sighting.
You need to book safari rides, can be done online, 2 to 3 months in advance or else it's tatkal booking or vip quota which is sometimes double the price.
There r 2 zones- buffer and core. You need to atleast take safari of one each.
As core zones have more deer herds and buffer has more sighting of tiger.
You need to check online or with few staff as to which gate has more sighting at that time before booking a ride.
On our visit, kolara gate had maximum sighting .
We saw tigers, sloth bear, bison, spotted deer, sambar deer, crocodiles, wild boar during our safari. It was very adventurous and thrilling.
Feb to may are the best seasons is what I have heard.
If summer definitely need to take lots of drinks and water with you. Caps and glares and mask too as lot of dust in the air due to all jeeps along.
Night safaris has different sighting and experience. Not very big animals but deer, civets, wild cat and owls can be seen. We didn't see any owls though.
But overall a very different and fun experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the many entry gates into Tadoba national park. This was the closest to our resort. Hardly a 10 minutes drive. We were lucky to spot 3 tigers and a leopard. The queen of Tadoba, Maya can be spotted on this route.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of entry gate...we took morning safari 6-10 am.Unfortunetly we did not spot any tiger,but we saw other animals like slotted deer,deer,black bear, peacock,Indian boar,blue cow.... instead of 1 safari book 2-3 safari that will increase the chances of spotting tigers
