Beside the fact that it's a place of worshiping mandir, you can easily spend few hours watching the scenario of ganga at the ghat. Nice place to spend some time without family, friend or alone.

An expanse of serenity , mere metres away from the bustle of GT road — it's a quaint temple off the shores of Ganga. It doesn't have the real estate of dakshineswar, but it's a calming place nonetheless. The place has been thoughtfully designed keeping peacefullness as the priority. There are ample benches under shady trees to sit and Marvel at the ever flowing Ganges. The only gripe about the place is that the entrance to the temples are extremely narrow, and this leads to a mad rush during auspicious days. Moreover the purohits are the definition of rudeness as they show no mannerisms and characteristics of decency at all, and behave with the utmost rudeness with the devotees

I go there after morning runs and morning rides from Serampore as its exactly 5km if you start just a few metres before the bend after bottola 5 point, great place but it stays crowded most of the time specially on the evenings. Still I find the place peaceful and the gentle breeze of the Ganges removes all the tiredness.

Very crowdy place during the weekends. In spring/autumn/winter weekdays, one can spend the evenings enjoying the cool breeze from the river. Not recommended for young couples. You can get in trouble for PDA.

A comparatively quiet and amazing place located on the banks of Ganges of Konnogor. This place contains century old twelve temples of lord Shiva built in an ancient Bengal temple style. This can be an ideal place to spend a lazy summer afternoon. Two or three small food stalls are also present in the premises. Some other places of interest like Rajarajeshwari Temple and Bhamha Samaj Ghat are located nearby which can be visited too on the same trip.
