About Kotak Mahindra Bank

The day I was hired was that of surprise. A day when I realised that a new organisation was willing to experiment with me on a role which I was very keen to prove myself in but had no prior experience of. 3 roles later the journey still continues – that of taking up new responsibilities, of challenging the norm, of having the autonomy to steer your ship the way you want with the final destination in mind.

One of my first mentors had mentioned that Kotak is a place where they will tell you the goal and then allow you complete autonomy to reach that goal in a manner which you feel best with the given resources. And every day has been mostly that. Keeps you on your toes and keeps you going. The best part of the autonomy is that if you ever holler for help and need guidance, the organisation is full of colleagues right upto the most senior of them that have a true open door policy. They will guide you, help you course correct and set your ship in the right direction. It is just like running your own business albeit in a professional environment. Not a single day has gone by which would require one to think of how to keep motivated and excited.

Joining as a RM in ECG in 2003 (with a background in audit only), moving to Area Head and then Regional Head by 2009 was a fulfilling journey. Then I moved into a completely different role in the Business Head’s office at Corporate Bank, handling multiple responsibilities till 2015. And from there into the current role of leading the service vertical for our customers across all Wholesale Bank businesses. Every day, Every profile, every experience filled with stories of success, adrenaline of achievements and trumpets of recognition.

14 years and counting they would normally say. But who counts when the journey is filled with so much of excitement!!!

Disgusting experience....I have a salary account in your bank at your branch..But only a mobile number is not changed by you regarding 3 days....this a third class experience to branch visit....and kotak customer care boys are lair ...I just stop my account ..

One of the worst customer service in whole India. This branch is full of nonsense attitude of staff. I’m sure that this branch will be closed soon due to the service. Today’s incident is that staff was on break for almost 2 hours and no teller was available as the room was locked and according to one of the staff she didn’t had the key and she was asking all the customers to go to Okhla branch if u r in hurry. The worst thing is she asked one of the customer to jump inside the cabin and unlock the room but suddenly said no in front of all the customers and I think she was worried to loose her job. I request the branch manager to take action and manage your staff properly and put them on customer service training for at least 6 months so that they can learn to become human and understand other humans too. Best of luck!!

Well we reached the bank today 23 Aug 2021. For the KYC for 811 account, the person we met took us to one of the cabin and asked us to choose 1 of the 2 options for zero balance account. He asked either we go with 10000 saving plan or we have to go with 3500 rs one time insurance plan. And he told us there is no such zero balance account available in kotak it's a fake propoganda by Bank. After this I asked him we are not interested with options provided by him and ready to leave.and them he took us to another person and he (the other person)said they don't know about zero balance account. All I want to say pethtic service unethical/ unprofessional, these people are surely loosing valuable customers.and not to mention the sales team at this location are Rude to other client as well. They really need a strong training.

Pathetic, rather then calling it a bank the staff and the bank look like a old govt hospital, rude staff, i visit here for my kyc and the staff sitting in the cabin even after listening me and my issue still busy with his female freind on call and after 10 minutes he gave me a number and told me to contact on the number.
