One of the best Mahadev temple near Motera, Chandkheda, Sabarmati area. I find it as my Peace Spot, and it is indeed a Calm place. One have to visit here to witness, the ambience and the freshness of the place. I personally take every single person who visit my house to this temple, and they all admire this a lot. The construction of temple is very well done with lots of stone carving work included which make its appearance pleasing and very much beautiful. Cleanliness inside the premises is to be pointed and appreciated because it is very neat and tidy at any point of the time. A great thumbs-up for the management, seriously. They do have a free drinking water point exactly near the main entrance gate. Parking is space is ample and is enough to accommodate a 100+ mixed category vehicle on any given day or occasion. It is located near the Bank of Sabarmati river at a distance of nearly 1-2 kms from Motera crossroad . I would like to mention some very important instructions one needs to know ( Consider these as Insider tips if you are visiting this temple for the very first time) : 1) **THEY STRICTLY DO NOT ALLOW TO ENTER INTO THE TEMPLE PREMISES WEARING SHORTS, 3/4th AND FROCKS**( i.e. ANYTHING THAT REVEALS YOUR LEGS) While there is an exception that sometimes they provide Dhoti for men, but still, beware of them and kindly do not go there with mentioned clothes or you will be halted outside the main entrance itself. 2) DSLR Camera is Strictly Prohibited. They also prohibit any kind of photography but nowadays they allow capturing selfies and pictures with mobile phone , that too depends on their mood.

Very peaceful place and temple. Very well managed and clean. It is at the bank of Sabarmati River. You get a beautiful view from the temple. Must visit especially in the evening time. The only thing I didn't like is they make u follow set of rules while entering in the temple. No camera, no phone etc...

If you want to spend a peaceful evening with Family, where Every members of your family can enjoy, this one is a good place. Kids will love to play in the large garden area while elders will love to be at this holistic environment. It’s one of the cleanest temple near Ahmedabad, as no one is allowed to take any food stuff inside the temple premises (including your water bottle). Sandhya Arti between 7:15 pm - 7:30 pm at this Temple is just awesome.

This is a place you can term as close to perfection. At the outset kudos to the team behind this temple who have both given an outstanding temple and equally surpassing garden landscaping. That too is well maintained. Have a pious darshan and prasad too.Just sit inside temple for sometime and breathe in a holy feeling. Outside gardens are like mini moghul gardens of Rashtrapati bhawan. So captivating and offers well manicured plants and trees rushing out to embrace you. A must visit place both for locals and tourists to Ahmedabad. Parking and public convenience facilities available. Good no vendors outside temple as this keeps the place clean. Experience for yourself what described as there is more to eyes then what you read here. Photography of main temple interiors not permitted. Well then have your own darshan and visit this gem of a temple at the earliest. Be blessed.

Wonderful and well maintained temple. Peaceful and calm atmosphere. This scenic place on the banks of Sabarmati is a must visit. The temple premises are clean and well maintained. The grass is lush green and the trees and flowers add beauty to the landscape. A good time to visit is at around 5 pm.
