Small station and not clean.

Very beautiful place looks like heaven in rainy season

Small train station....No public amenities...No FOB ....you have to cross rail tracks to get tickets....

firstly, it is not 'kotmi sonan'-actually it is 'kotmi sunar'.secondly -in between jairamnagar and kotmisunar there is a river known as 'neelagar' and not 'lilagar'. hope you will verify and will make the necessary changes. Kotmisunar-a small village on bilaspur-champa rail link and attached to railway halt with a few residential houses and a small market of daily needs. Not so special as usual of any other small villages yet the village is famous on the map because it holds a 'crocodile park' one of its kind in central india.This village has lot of ponds and were full of croc. So to save the villagers, state government in a planned manner shifted these crocs. from various ponds to a big one (around 85 sq.acre of water area)and more than 100 in numbers and compleatly sorrounded by wire fence.It is nearly 5 mts walk from the station. A beautiful place of a days visit,round the year tourists visits but during winter it turns into a echoing green with school kids,many migratory birds also can be seen during this time.the park is nice in my choice ,but do not forget to carry your food basket,since the restaurant in side the park is not up to the mark.So visit the place and enjoy.

This is a little railway station that lie between Akaltara and Jairamnagar railway station . Kotmi sonar is famous for the crocodile park which is full of crocodiles . Also there is good and beautiful park located here .

Small halt for local trains kotmi Sonar but there a surprise of crocodile park very beautiful and adventurous for everyone.
