Had heard alot about this place from family and friends, so finally got to visit this place. It's nestled in one of the residential property off CG road. They have a nice lush green waiting area with a relaxing lord Buddha wall fountain. They have valet parking also. Being a Sunday we did have to wait for our table, but hardly for 10 minutes. We ordered Masala boondi - which I thought would come over sweet curd, it was masala boondi with chopped onions and tomatoes. Would have liked it more if had it been crisp. it tastes much better with sweet curd which we called for seperately. Plain dosa was crip to perfection and son loved it. Rava onion podi dosa - was also crisp to perfection with the right amount of podi masala. Idli with rasan was good too. Malabar prantha with veg korma - was glad that paranthas were not the frozen ones, the korma was with tomato base gravy and lacked the coconut flavour though it was a good platter over all. Will definitely visit again to explore other dishes on the menu.

Absolutely Overrated! The Dosas and also Masala Dosas were way too disappointing....Hospitality was too poor...Except for the Ambiance and quick service nothing great. South Indian taste and Quality pretty average. Limited items on the menu. No Cold drinks only coconut water and Lassi available Nothing available on the menu for small kids unless they have a liking for dosas and idli..

Great food and service! Absolutely loved it! Coconut water (beverage) and coconut shira (dessert) are the best of all! Alao, for all those of you who are going for the first time, or if you don't know much about these things, just ask the branch manager for the specialities and I can guarantee that you will leave only to come back again and again and again... (Dhinchak dosa is the best too)

Well This is the 2nd kovallum apart from the one near Law Garden. Taste of food, No change and is great. My regular item Mysore Masala Dosa and it tasted great to me. We came here as the old one was too crowded and had waiting of 30 min. Parking is not a issue. Fast service good attentive staff. Contactless machine and Barcode UPI available.

I visited this place with my friend and we enjoyed the experience. The staffs were very nice and attentive. Taste-wise, the food were absolutely magnificent, but plating could’ve been improved. Price was around 700INR for these three meals + mineral water. Ambience is good for catching up with friends, hanging out, but not so much for a dating experience. Will definitely come to visit again some other time.

Visited Kovallam second time that too after 3-4 years. As one morning we wanted to have delicious south Indian breakfast and we landed here. Trust me the place, staff and tasty food was exactly same as earlier i.e bang on!! What a Soothing ambience. Sleeping Buddha in front of me was so calming. I had ordered Ghee Podi masala dosa - It is definitely worth a try, super crispy, delicious punch of Podi and ghee Filter coffee β˜• - it was good Butter tossed Podi idli - it was so lip-smacking tht I can go again and again to recollect it's taste Chakachak idli - on the bed of coconut chutney soft idli covered with the with blanket of Podi - it was complimentary dish for us. Worth it Like their Sambar and tomato chutney Will definitely visit again
