★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The 55-acre Kowdenahalli Lake, which was once a deserted swamp, is now a vibrant waterbody frequented by local and migratory birds, home to several species of fish and reptiles and with medicinal plants and fruit-bearing trees dotting its periphery.
Residents recalled how they would be scared to visit the lake 10 years ago as the water couldn’t be differentiated from muck. Today, under the United Way Bengaluru (UWBe) flagship initiative, Wake the Lake, the waterbody has been rejuvenated, thanks to community, government and corporate collaboration.
Visit the park on Sundays and at 7.30 we can shop groceries in near by Ramamurthy Market

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Covers around 1.5 to 2km if you go around for once (2500steps), beautiful, decent, has a small temple inside, u can see lot of birds migrating at certain seasons, lake is pretty clean can be improved and maintained. Morning walkers and evening walkers can be seen.
Opens at morning 5:30 to 10:00
Evening it will be opened till 6:30 after that it gets very dark inside n ppl will be sent out .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This lake is situated inside Rm Nagar. You'll be amazed in the busy streets a calm and green covered place. You can go walking around the lake approximately 1.5kms.
Open from mrng 5-9am and evening 4-6pm.
Well maintained, all over the path you can see trees and plants. And small kids areas available.
If you are fitness freak and badly wanted to run, jog and do cycling. Best place and inside the city range.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden Gem in RM Nagar just behind ITI layout. Very peaceful, decent crowd and lovely scenery. Perfect for morning walks and relaxing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place for jogging, walking around the lake. Park is maintained very well. There are lot of benches to sit and view the lake. There is also place for kids to play which includes slides, swing and sea saw. 2 wheeler parking space is available. No place for car park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Edit- changing from 5 to 3 stars. Because well, the guards on duty are useless. They can't open the park gate on time, most days they open the gate at 4:30pm even though timings are 4pm. Sad state of affairs, if they can't open a gate on time, not much else they can do, clearly! They've taken this job to sit around and chit chat apparently.
Beautiful place for walks!
Opens both mornings and evenings, easy access to parking as well.
Fresh air, tons of plants, trees and flowers around. Clean air, clean lake surroundings. There's a mini play area for kids as well.
