★ ★ ★ ★ ★ విజయవాడలోని కొంతమంది వస్త్రలత వ్యాపారులు 1991లో 'కృష్ణవేణి హోల్‌సేల్‌ క్లాత్‌ మర్చంట్స్‌ షాపింగ్‌ కాంప్లెక్స్‌' ఇక్కడికి సమీపం దూరంలో నిర్మించుకున్నారు. 370 మంది సభ్యులతో పంజా సెంటర్‌లో 3 1/2 ఎకరాల స్థలం కొనుగోలు చేసి అందులో 370 షాపులు షుమారు 12 కోట్ల వ్యయంతో ఈ సంస్థను ఏర్పరుచుకొని తమ స్వంత మార్కెట్‌ను నిర్మించుకోవడంతో హోల్‌సెల్‌ మార్కెట్‌ అంతా ఈ కృష్ణవేణి హోల్‌సెల్‌ మార్కెట్‌కు ఎక్కువగా తరలిపోయింది. 2002 సంవత్సరంలో నిర్మాణం పూర్తయి ఇక్కడ వ్యాపారాలు ప్రారంభం కాగా సంవత్సరానికి షుమారు 700 కోట్ల వ్యాపారం జరుగుతున్నది. 1000 మంది వరకు గుమస్తాలు, సేల్స్‌మెన్లు, ఇంకా ముఠా కార్మికులు పనిచేస్తున్నారు. విశాలవంతమైన రోడ్లు, సెల్లారు పార్కింగ్‌ అన్ని విధాలైన సౌకర్యాలతో ఇక్కడ వ్యాపారాభివృద్ధి జరుగుతున్నది.

 Some clothing merchants in Vijayawada built the 'Krishnaveni Wholesale Cloth Merchants Shopping Complex' in 1991 near here. With the purchase of 3 1/2 acres of land in the Panja Center with 370 members, 370 shops were set up at a cost of about Rs 12 crore to build their own market and the entire wholesale market was shifted to the Krishnaveni Wholesale Market. Construction was completed in 2002 and businesses started here with an annual turnover of around Rs 700 crore. It employs up to 1000 clerks, salesmen, and gang workers. Business development is taking place here with wide roads, cellar parking and all kinds of facilities.
