★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It use to be the top sweet shop in varanasi, but later it made so many changes in cost and quality which made it a premium sweet shop and later yet another sweet shop, as compare to earlier one can find so many likewise shops as well as better once in the locality, yet being an very old and renowned it's a must visit place atleast once if not regularly.

Before it was big store and had many varieties of sweet and namkeen too, but now after some renovation it had became small and have less varieties of sweets now.also might be because of covid..though it has good service and staff..and the sweets are always best quality.

The architecture is very unique
But the problem is that this place is very dirty..
Extremely dirty..
People throw garbage on road and even into the river..
That's so pathetic..
Dog rubbish is everywhere on road and it's not even cleaned..
Chlorine powder is thrown everywhere..
Tiny streets, very dirty
Lack of awareness among people..
It's not the problem of this area, whole Varanasi is in the same situation..
Come on people..
