★ ★ ★ ★ ★ History is something that we n our upcoming generation should know so museums r always a welcome. This museum is located nearby Hamirsar lake n easily accessible from everywhere. Nearby there is market so u can do shopping too. The building is in great shape n being taken care of. As soon as u enter, uh will find some canons , I m posting some pics, placed in the beautiful garden. The entry fee is nominal @ 5/- per person n @20/- for foreigners. Now what do u expect -?
It has many sculptures 1000-2000 years old with ok inscriptions on stone pillars, if u have interest, then only. A small section of arms like old fire arms, some sords n daggers. Some old coins, dresses, kutch hand work and some silver wares with great detailed work. The museum is divided in two floors and u can finish that within 1/2 an hour. Of course to mention that it has some stone tools on display from stone age but I couldn't get anybody who could detail me about it.
The most hurting point is that if u want to click photos either by mobile or by camera, u have to pay rs100/- which I think is nt legitimate coz after spending rs100/- u won't find many things to click. Moreover this is the part of my past so why should I pay for it? Albert hall in Jaipur, Raj. Is much bigger n diversified as compared to it, still it's free to click the photos, so I request the local govt. to waive off the charge.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This meusum is just beside swaminarayan temple. This represents the history and culture of kuttcch and some historical events. If u came for swaminarayan temple than u should go for this also. Such an interesting place.

Famous also. But Wednesday it's closed.
Very good collection of kutch ancient and antique collection of clothes jewelry and stones

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the few places you can visit during your trip to Bhuj. The ticket price for Indian nationals is a mere 5 rupees with additional discounts for students. But In my opinion the museum does not do justice to the rich heritage of the Kutch region. The museum is rather empty with very few displays. Most of the installations have little to no descriptions which is a major disappointment to people who're genuinely interested in learning about the history of the region.
