It was established in 1836 in accordance with the will of the French soldiers of fortune and philanthropist, Major General Claude Martin. They are Christian schools, controlled by the Protestant Church of North India and independent from Government, with English as the primary language of instructions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Considered as one of the most exclusive and renowned schools in India, La martiniere maintains what it is supposed to maintain. While allegations of teacher misconducts, racism are there, it is mostly from local teachers who are not inclusive in their way of teachings. Nevertheless, it is overshadowed by the diverse students coming from different part of the country and occasionally some foreigners. Canteen, field and all other facilities are good enough. One can also enjoy and like their time spent and their experience by being a martinian . Overall, good school to be considered for your children.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ its a bad school mostly because there anpre bullies and teachers dont even investigate and secondly, the teachers are bad because when a student cant hear question most teachers repeat in irritation and some dont even reply they just give question to someone else, onlly soem teavhers are polite and have some manners a professional teacher should for a whooping price of 12 lakh rupees a year, so not reccomended for elementry school but for middle and high school it is reccomended
