Parking service is being offered by DMRC.New metro line(pink) is under construction. So you might find this place little dusty and noisy. Otherwise station is as usual as other Delhi metro station. You may face heavy traffic near metro station. This metro station is the nearest station to Central Market where you find a lot shopping options be it roadside shops or branded stores.

This review is about pink line at Lajpat Nagar which connects Shiv Vihar to Majlis Park (both ends termination station) where as Lajpat Nagar is a junction which connects pink line with violet line. Lajpat Nagar metro has become a hub which connects major areas of Delhi with its economical matket popularly known as Central Market. one can interchange here to change metro or go to market for shopping. one u come out of metro, u can find rikshawala and autos standing there to take passengers to the market........Pink line has been designed aesthetically where one can see painting on wall .......and u may have to little walk while changing from violet to pink line........

Lajpat Nagar is an interchange station between Violet Line and Pink Line of the Delhi Metro in Delhi. It is located between Jangpuraand Moolchand on the Violet Line in Lajpat Nagar. The station was opened with the first section of the Violet Line on 3 October 2010, in time for the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony on the same day. It became an interchange station with the opening of the Pink Line on 6 August 2018. The station on the Pink Line is underground, whereas the Violet line station is elevated. However, both the lines are seamlessly connected, without the commuters having to exit the ticketed area to interchange from one line to another.
