★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Constructed in 70s and is a huge temple complex in the middle of Visakhapatnam city. Main diety is very attractive and the festivities held here are very magnanimous to participate. But this temple complex is on a very narrow street.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love syamalamba. This goddess is very powerful. One can perform puja on their own. Abhisekam can be done by individuals. Trustees of d temple are very polite and courteous.
Please don't give any donations to anyone coming home or meeting elsewhere claiming they are raising funds for annadam at d temple.. Any offerings or donations u want to give hand it over to d temple committee available at d temple.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a very famous and well-known temple, which is easy to locate. The temple is very big in size and it is has three main sections, one is the main Lalitha Devi temple with Sai Baba temple to right and other temples surrounding the main temple. It is very crowded during Dussehra times. Also, there is a free lunch provided for the donors everyday at afternoon sharp at 12:00pm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In past, it's a VERY POPULAR & FAMOUS TEMPLE.
But now-a-days, the staff of the temple are not at all taking any care ; they have become very negligent in maintaining the timings; the temple will be opened late even on Fridays & other important festive days; these irregularities are discouraging the devotees from planning their next visit. Perhaps that's the main reason for decrease in the number of devotees.
The temple management has to identify this, and initiate required remedial action to regain it's popularity of the temple.
