Lal bagh lake at sunrise is perhaps my favorite time and place to be in Banglore. It's an unfading rush to stroll around lal bagh lake in that chill atmosphere (it doesn't hurt that they don't charge a ticket before 8:30am) They also have a small island within the lake that you could vist at select times. The lake is beautiful at any time, but i strongly recommend the early morning window.

Nice park. Good views and if u like flowers then try to visit in January you get good flowers show. Otherwise you can visit any time of year. You can easily spend half day here.

Overall lots to see here and you should probably spend a t least two hours to see most of it. There is an app called Pinakin that you can download but the streaming doesn't work well, so download before leaving your hotel and you can download the 20 or so attractions there. The park itself is nice by local standards and is being cleaned up. Hopefully they can continue to make progress on cleaning it up more as it is a great area.

Nice lake. Lalbagh Botanical Garden is located in Bangalore and is nationally and internationally renowned centre for botanical artwork, scientific study of plants and also conservation of plants. A haven for all nature lovers, Lal Bagh covers an area 240 acres in the heart of the city and has nearly 1,854 species of plants. It was commissioned by Hyder Ali in 1760 and completed by his son Tipu Sultan. The garden features rare plants of French, Persian and Afghani origin and has attained the status of a Government Botanical Garden. The Lal Bagh Rock which is over 3000 million years old is found here and is a major tourist attraction.

This lake is one of the main attraction of Lalbag. Long walking path available across the lake. Good for jogging and walking. You can see many birds at early morning.
