Various Department are situated in blocks and laboratories , hostel blocks , annexe building , canteen , mess. Unfortunately, after the emergence of a major private engineering school in Gujarat, it is no longer a topper's top priority, but it is still a very good option for quality education at a reasonable price.

It was started in 1948 with just 4 branch and now it has 13 branch and more than 5000 studnets are studying in the institute. It has hostel facility for boys and girls, library, cricket ground, canteen and many historical things are still there in college. Very good experience in 4 year of learning

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the best engineering institutes in Gujarat. When it comes to engineering this is one of the first names that ever comes to mind.
This place has given fast many good engineers to the society. Also it is one of the Government operated college so fees are very very low. It had many different labs and testing equipments which student can use while attending the labs.
Initially it was part of the gujarat university but lately I think it became part of the Gujarat technological university I believe and after that I have heard a lot of changes but not sure though.
I was honored that I got a chance to study here. And this is one of the best things that happens to me in my life. Also I did get chance to study for few months in one of the other private best university (Nirma institute of technology) but I always recommend this college over any other primates institutes in Gujrat.
I will definitely recommend this college to anyone.
