★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not recommended for macbooks with touchbar – returned laptop with another defect that did not exist earlier – about 3 weeks of repair time – expensive too!
I read a lot of reviews before deciding to get my macbook (2018) repaired at this shop; I was hopeful since the reviews were coming for legitimate profiles, but the service and repair does not reflect well with what the reviews claimed. Based on my discussion with the technician when i was picking it up, they didn't seem competent fixing macbooks, which they should have given a headup about first thing. Mr. Rajeev, who is the owner, is the only person who has experience with macs, but the actual store technicians do not.
problem: screen issue; screen was not displaying anything while everything else was functional and normal (keyboard, touchbar, functionality)
costed a whooping Rs.5000!!!
While the screen is fixed, which I'm thankful for, they returned the laptop ruining the touchbar (not working, whereas before the repair it was working fine - i can confirm this because that is how i was able to identify the screen issue earlier).
Experience- Initially they had asked for 2 days of repair time that became a complete week. after the first week when I picked it up, i noticed touchbar isnt working, came back in the following day to get this sorted. the day after, i was asked to come and pickup the computer, but they hadn't even bothered to open it up and try fixing it up- Mr. Rajeev was understanding and apologized- took another couple of days without any actual fix - returned the laptop claiming they cannot fix it.
