★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tastes awesome! Best delicacy for vegetarians. Alcohol is served but on firat floor only. It has both options of AC and Non-AC dining. Taste is same for both, but the rates would differ due to obvious reason. But if you are looking out for a budgeted tasty vegetarian dinner/lunch place in Powai this is your answer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Laxmi restaurant is in Powai near IIT Bombay. It's a pure vegetarian restaurant and I like this place for its paneer patiala, heads up for this dish. You can also try their masala papad but never go for shakes.

Starting from dosa to pav bhaji to sabzi roti, all at a reasonable price.
Tried their batata Vada sambar and masala chai today.
Batata Vada tasted very nice dipped in delicious hot sambar. And the coconut chutney on the side was a plus.
Masala chai was decent.
They have nice ac sitting and the service is fast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heaven for vegetarians. The menu is a book in itself with so many vegetarian options. A must go place for all vegetarian lovers. They do serve alcohol. Best for soothing peaceful evening when you are looking for just quality time without any high bass music.
Taste of food items is delicious. Service is upto the mark. There are separate sections for alcohol and proper parking is also available.

If you go here for booze which is also safe and very comfortable for ladies, do try cheese garlic bread as your chakna (130rs). It's just awesome and cost effective.
